Business Park Investment - A MAJOR boost for business growth in Rochford District has been given the green light after councillors approved plans for 10 new commercial units at Airport Business Park

A MAJOR boost for business growth in Rochford District has been given the green light after councillors approved plans for 10 new commercial units at Airport Business Park, Southend at the latest Development Committee meeting.
The development will deliver almost 6,000 square metres of new employment space across Plots 9 and 10 of the business park, providing modern industrial, storage and business accommodation for a range of occupiers.
The council says it will help meet growing demand for high-quality commercial space while supporting investment, business growth and job creation in the district.
Located within the strategic employment area surrounding London Southend Airport, Airport Business Park has become one of Rochford District’s most important economic assets. The site continues to attract investment and support expanding businesses, helping to drive economic growth and create employment opportunities for local residents.
Coun Adi Malviya, Leader of Rochford District Council, said: “Rochford District is an attractive place to do business and it is important that we continue to provide the space and opportunities that growing companies need.
“This development will help build on the success of the Airport Business Park and support our wider ambition to grow a strong, resilient local economy that benefits residents and businesses alike.”
The latest phase of development will further strengthen the business park’s role as a key employment location and ensure the district is well placed to accommodate future business growth.
