Kisra Karime, 26, of Oakleaigh Avenue, Southend, 29 year-old Mohammed Fatah, of London Road, Westcliff, and Ali Maulood, 37, of Park Terrace, Westcliff were all arrested following the incident on 8 February last year.
A police statement said: “We received calls at around 5.30pm reporting fight and when officers attended, they spoke to two men who had sustained serious injuries.
“Our officers were able to establish a fight between a group of people had taken place which included the use of weapons.
“CCTV captured the incident in its entirety and officers were able to identify those responsible.
“Karime, Fatah, and Maulood were all arrested on 12 March and later charged.
“At Basildon Crown Court on 19 June Karime and Fatah admitted GBH with intent while Maulood admitted affray. At the same court on 24 July, Karime was sentenced to two years and six months, Fatah received two years and nine months, and Maulood, was given a year and two months.”
Investigating officer Detective Constable Ryan Gibbs, from Southend CID, said: “This incident happened in a public place at a time when a lot of people would have been around.
“This type of incident is completely unacceptable and we will not tolerate it.
“I am pleased our investigation has held these three men accountable and they have faced justice.”
