Assault investigation Appeal

AN investigation is ongoing following an assault in Leigh, and Police are asking anyone with information, who has not yet come forward, to contact them.
At around 4pm on Monday 25 May, an incident occurred near the Crooked Billet pub on High Street, Old Leigh.
It was reported that a man was thrown over a wall following an altercation. The victim sustained a wrist injury.
As this happened on a busy bank holiday Monday, Police believe there may be witnesses who have not yet spoken to them.
