Hullbridge Christmas Lights

MARK Francois MP joined local Councillors and volunteers to support the turning on of the Christmas lights in Hullbridge village.
The festivities were organised by Hullbridge Parish Council, supported by a variety of local community groups – and included a highly-popular Parish Council “human fruit machine”.
Hullbridge residents, as well as visitors from further afield were treated to a variety of stalls, mainly arranged around Ferry Road car park, before the lights were illuminated, around 6:30pm.
Speaking about the occasion, the Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mr Francois said: “Congratulations to Hullbridge Parish Council for organising such a successful event on Saturday.
“As well as lots of stalls in the Ferry Road car park there was also a lot going on inside the Hullbridge Community Association Hall itself. The Parish Council’s ‘Human Fruit Machine’ was an amusing and very popular touch, as well.”
