Garden Permaculture Talk

A RAYLEIGH group are holding a public talk on the practice of permaculture this February.
Rayleigh Horticultural Society will be welcoming guest speaker Monica Knight to deliver their club talk on Friday, February 6th in the main church hall at Holy Trinity.
The talk will reveal gardener Monica’s secrets for her fabulously colourful garden, situated in Rayleigh.
A spokesperson says: “Monica will be sharing with us her experience of using Permaculture as a basis of her work in Tree Tops, her wonderful garden in Rayleigh.
“Her experience with this type of growing is labour saving and, she says, produces great results.”
Permaculture is an holistic approach that mimics arrangements observed in natural eco-systems, and offers a low-maintenance, productive and locally-focused way to mange garden spaces.
The talk is the first of the society’s’ regular Club afternoons for this year
The talk starts at 2pm, admission is £2.50 to the Society’s members and £3 to non-members, and includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
