CWRA Annual Lunch

MEMBERS of the Chalkwell Ward Residents Association (CWRA) gathered for their annual lunch at the Park Room in Chalkwell Park.
Guests enjoyed a three-course meal before welcoming the Mayor of Southend, Chalkwell councillor Nigel Folkard, as the event’s guest speaker.
Jane Hendry, Secretary of CWRA said: “Coun Folkard gave an enthusiastic and entertaining account of his mayoral year.”
Members added they were delighted to welcome the mayor and appreciated his engaging and good-humoured reflections on the role.
The annual lunch provided an opportunity for CWRA members to meet socially and celebrate another successful year for the association.
