Gold Geese Fundraiser

LEIGH children’s cancer support charity Gold Geese’s is holding its annual Nuclear Races mud run fundraiser on Sunday 3rd May.
With already only a few places remaining, people are being encouraged to sign up soon if they’d like to take part.
The popular private 2k mud run in Brentwood involves obstacles, wading through muddy trenches, whizzing down slides and navigating rope ladders and swings. Participants can take part as individuals, families or teams. Children aged 10+ are welcome to join if accompanied by an adult.
Entry is free but each person must raise a minimum of £100 for Gold Geese, to cover costs to the charity and raise vital funds to support children and young people fighting cancer in South East Essex.
Gold Geese support is tailored to each family’s needs and ranges from funding for mental health therapy and food shop vouchers to toys, weekend trips away and practical help with travel to and from hospital.
Katie Southgate, Gold Geese founder and CEO, said: “Our Nuclear Races event is always brilliant and has bucket loads of team spirit, positivity and MUD! It’s so much fun and so gross – all in one! You’ll come away smiling, muddy and having helped local families affected by childhood cancer.
