“Big Sleep Out”

LIBERTY Hygiene and HARP Launch “Big Sleep Out” to Tackle Homelessness in Essex.
Liberty Hygiene, in partnership with Southend based homelessness charity HARP, is calling on businesses, organisations, and individuals to take part in the upcoming “Big Sleep Out” – a powerful overnight event designed to raise awareness of homelessness and support vital frontline services.
Taking place on Friday, 10 April 2026, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at 16 Totman Crescent, Rayleigh (SS6 7XG), the event will bring the community together for a meaningful evening of reflection, learning, and connection.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of homelessness while directly supporting HARP’s work across the local area. The evening will include: An informative talk on HARP’s services and impact: Live music, BBQ, and a communal firepit: Open and honest conversations with individuals who have lived experience of homelessness, alongside HARP staff: A relaxed, inclusive atmosphere – whether attending for the full night or just a few hours.
