Leigh On Sea News: Jobs Fair Returns – THE Rochford District Jobs, Skills & Volunteering Fair is set to return on Tuesday 2 June, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at The Mill Arts & Events Centre in Rayleigh.
This free event is delivered in partnership by Rochford District Council, Rayleigh Jobcentre Plus, and Rayleigh Rochford and District Association for Voluntary Service (RRAVS). It will bring together a wide range of local employers, training providers and volunteering organisations, all in one place.
Whether you are actively job hunting, looking to upskill, or interested in volunteering opportunities, the fair offers a valuable chance to explore what is available locally. Attendees can speak directly with organisations, discover new pathways, and access advice and support tailored to their individual goals.
On the day, visitors will be able to meet a variety of organisations, including London Southend Airport, Trust Links, Adult Community Learning Essex and Employ-Ability, alongside many others.
This inclusive, community-focused event aims to support residents at every stage, whether entering the workforce, changing careers, building new skills or contributing to the local community through volunteering.
Coun Adi Malviya, Leader of Rochford District Council and chair of the Strategy, Finance, Policy & Economic Development Committee at Rochford District Council, said: “This fair is a fantastic opportunity for our residents to connect with local employers, training providers and community organisations all under one roof.
“Whether people are starting out, changing direction or looking to give back through volunteering, we want to ensure they have access to the support, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed. Events like this are about helping people take the next step with confidence while supporting the continued growth of our local economy.”
