Northern Soul Performance

AN original Northern Soul legend Lorraine Silver joins forces The Signatures at the Palace Theatre on Saturday 13th June.
For The Signatures, this performance marks a major milestone.
Originally formed in Essex, the band spent their early days building a following in local Southend venues, and later served as the house band for the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC 6 Music.
Now, they are returning to their roots as the UK’s leading live Northern Soul band for what will be an emotional and high-energy homecoming gig.
The evening promises an authentic Northern Soul experience, featuring a ten-piece live band and the powerful vocals of Freddy Gillmore, joined onstage by legend Lorraine Silver – best known for her classic track “Lost Summer Love.”
Originally recorded when she was just 13 years old, the song became a massive staple at the legendary Wigan Casino and remains a defining anthem of the Northern Soul movement.
