Charity Ascot Day

A LEIGH charity is preparing to host a special fundraising event.
Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust will be holding its annual Ascot Race Day on June 19th, with a sumptuous afternoon at the Cliffs Pavilion Maritime Rooms.
People are invited to come along and enjoy a glamorous event whilst watching the live streamed races, all the while supporting those affected by breast cancer.
The event aims to create the excitement of a traditional race day, without leaving Essex, set against the stunning backdrop of the estuary landscape.
Tickets include a delicious two-course lunch and a glass of bubbles on arrival to get you into the Ascot spirit.
A spokesperson said: “Expect plenty of laughter, friendly competition and a few surprises along the way, with fun games running alongside the racing action.
“There will also be the much-loved Lady M Raffle, packed with fantastic prizes waiting to be won.
“Dress to impress and gather your friends for a stylish and uplifting afternoon.
“Every ticket helps raise vital funds for Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust, allowing us to continue supporting people in our local community affected by breast cancer.”
The event runs from 12.30pm – 6.30pm
