Leigh On Sea News: Illegal Eagles Show – THE Illegal Eagles, one of the most successful and respected live concert productions in the UK, will celebrate their 30th Anniversary with two spectacular Gala performances at their home venue, The Cliffs Pavilion, on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th July 2026.
The concerts mark three decades since the band was formed in Southend in the summer of 1996, beginning a remarkable journey that has taken them to theatres and concert halls across the UK and beyond.
Southend’s rich musical heritage helped shape the vibrant live music scene of the 1970s and 1980s, producing influential acts such as Dr. Feelgood, Eddie & The Hot Rods and the Kursaal Flyers. While The Illegal Eagles emerged from a different musical tradition, they were formed in a town with a proud reputation for producing outstanding live bands.
With enhanced orchestration, special guest appearances, a look back at the band’s origins and the complete Hotel California album performed live, these two Gala performances promise to be among the most memorable concerts in The Illegal Eagles’ history.
