Funeral firm raised over £4k for hospice. The team present Havens with the cheque
A FAMILY-run funeral firm have donated £4,500 to local hospice care following a charity golf day.
A spokesman for Leigh firm S. Stibbards and Sons said: “Today we attended Little Havens Hospice to present a cheque of £4,500.00, which we raised from our annual charity golf day that was kindly hosted by Boyce Hill Golf Club and organised by our conductor, Simon Lawrence.
“We want to take the time to thank everyone who took part in the event.
“Our generous sponsors and those who participated in the raffles and auctions on the day, in aid of allowing us to make this donation to Havens Hospices. They can now continue to support those in need within the community of South East Essex.
