A RAYLEIGH tattoo shop raised £5,000 in aid of a mental heath charity.

Dark Soul Tattoo hosted the event on May 6, in a popular day that featured a raffle with prizes from the artists, and small local businesses.

Body Piercer Lois Perry, who works at Dark Soul Tattoo, helped organise the fundraiser, and also had some of her artwork on offer in the raffle.

Ms Perry said: “The day has been incredibly popular.

“It was a huge success and we raised over £5000 for Mind Mental Health.

“We had lots of bookings for tattoos and piercings.”
