LEIGH Town Council are hosting a number of fun holiday activities for children this August at the Leigh Community Centre.

The Art Ministry on 7th August from 1-2pm and 28th August at 12-12.45, 1-1.45 and 2-2.45pm, is open to all ages.

Have fun at the Penguin art workshop on 12th August between 1-3pm, when the community centre’s resident artist holds a workshop with a penguin theme to tie in with Waddle on Sea penguin displays, with all profits to Havens Hospice.

Football fun on 13th August between 12.00-13.30pm features a mini tournament, skills, and presentation for girls and boys aged 6 plus.

Yoga on 15th August uses stories, songs, games and poses. Running from 2pm – 2.45pm, the session is suitable for 6-12 years. Whilst parents are welcome to stay, it is also a drop off session.

Pirate Workshop on 26th August from 2.00 to 3.30pm. Join us for an adventure on the high seas in our pirate themed drama and storytelling workshop. Suitable for 8-12 years.

All £2.00 per child. Children to be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise stated.
