THIS year marks a special milestone for Meadow Croft Garden Centre as the beloved German Market celebrates its 10th anniversary.
What began in 2015 with just a handful of stalls has grown into one of Essex’s most enchanting festive experiences.
Until 23rd December 2025, visitors can once again wander through more than 30 crafted wooden chalets, each brimming with authentic, handmade treasures sourced directly from Germany.
Owner Roland Smith and his team travel each year to the heart of Germany, discovering talented artisans whose work captures the true spirit of Christmas.
From delicate glass baubles and carved wooden decorations to traditional cuckoo clocks, every item tells a story of craftsmanship and heritage.
The air will be filled with the comforting aromas of Bratwurst, Gingerbread, and steaming mugs of Glühwein, while families can indulge in sweet delights like waffles, apple strudel, and the ever-popular Schokokusse.
