Three Arrested

THREE people have been arrested as part of the police response to an incident in High Street, Rayleigh.
A police statement said: “We were alerted to a disturbance involving a group of people outside the Roebuck Pub shortly after 10.45pm last night, Friday 7 November.
“When officers arrived, three men all aged in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of assault and affray. One of the three was later arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers.
“All three remain in custody and our investigation is progressing.
“We’re aware the incident took place in public and briefly obstructed traffic whilst officers worked to ensure the incident concluded safely.
“As part of our investigation, we’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has phone or dashcam footage of it.
