EasyJet’s 30th Birthday

MARK Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, has attended a special event at Westminster to celebrate popular airline EasyJet’s 30th birthday.
EasyJet operate from a variety of airports around the UK, including London Southend Airport, which they withdrew from during the Covid pandemic, but to which they returned last year.
EasyJet now operate three aircraft from Southend to a variety of destinations, including popular Mediterranean ‘hot spots’ in the summer months.
It is hoped that EasyJet will continue to expand their presence at Southend, with more aircraft and destinations over the next few years.
Speaking about the 30th birthday celebration, Mr Francois said: “As someone who was very pleased to see the post-Covid return of EasyJet to Southend airport, I was pleased to join them for their 30th birthday celebrations at Westminster.
“EasyJet has always been a popular airline with my constituents, and I wish them all the very best for their next 30 years and beyond.”
