Hadleigh Banking Hub

A NEW banking hub has officially opened in Hadleigh after almost 4 years of community anticipation.
The hub launched on Wednesday, March 18th at Hadleigh Library, offering counter services from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The hub provides everyday banking transactions similar to post office services, along with in-person support from major banks throughout the week.
Rebecca Harris MP for castle Point said: “The Banking Hub at Hadleigh Library is now open!
“This is a really important service for residents who still rely on face-to-face banking.
“Huge credit to Kevin Foley, Jacqui Thornton and everyone in the Hadleigh Community Group who worked tirelessly to make this happen for our community after Hadleigh Town Centre lost its last bank almost four years ago.
“This has taken a huge amount of work to deliver.
“I’d like to thank Cash Access UK, library staff and Essex County Council, especially Councillor Andrew Sheldon, for their support.
“If you need banking services locally, pop into Hadleigh Library.”
