EARTHQUAKE APPEAL CONCERT
THE Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs have invited The Southend Wind Orchestra and Cantare ladies’ choir to join them in a free concert in Westcliff to raise funds for the Turkey – Syria Earthquake Appeal. The concert takes place at 8pm on Friday, March10th in the Kings Road UR Church, Westcliff. The free concert will include popular repertoire and music from stage and screen, with a retiring collection to raise funds for the DEC Earthquake Appeal.

ANNUAL COMMUNITY MEETING
LEIGH Town Council are set to hold their Annual Community Meeting on Friday, March 24th at Leigh Community Centre. The meeting gives all residents in Leigh the chance to celebrate local activities in the community and debate current issues around the town.
Doors open at 6.30pm to a selection of community displays from local groups.
Free hot drinks and cakes courtesy will be available, and the meeting will commence at approximately 7 pm.
