Gold Geese Event

THE small Leigh based childhood cancer charity Gold Geese is holding an event on 5th June to thank its volunteers and share information about volunteering opportunities for people considering getting involved with the charity.
A spokesperson said: “Its Cheers to our Volunteers. “
The event will be held at 5 – 7pm on the 5th June at Bits on the Side on Rectory Grove, Leigh on Sea, SS9 2HL.
Volunteering opportunities include helping with events, fundraising, promoting the Gold Geese September awareness campaign and recruiting stem cell donors.
Katie Southgate, Gold Geese Founder and CEO said: “Our charity wouldn’t exist without our volunteers and we want to show them how grateful we are.”
Gold Geese provides personalised, practical and emotional support to families in Mid and South Essex facing childhood cancer.
