Cherry Orchard Consultation

RESIDENTS and park users are being invited to share their views on the future of Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park.
A public consultation has been launched by Rochford District Council to help guide the long-term management and improvement of the site.
The consultation will run from Wednesday 10 June for 8 weeks and will gather feedback on two connected areas of work relating to the park.
The consultation has two parts.
The first asks residents to comment on the park’s paths – their condition, surfacing, accessibility, how well routes connect, and any barriers such as poor drainage, narrow widths or unclear signage.
The second seeks feedback on the draft Management Plan for Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park, including its vision, long‑term aims, priorities and proposed improvements.
Together, these responses will help shape future changes that support biodiversity and enhance the experience for visitors and the local community.
The information collected will help the council understand how people use the park and what changes they want. It will guide how the park is managed and support future funding bids to improve access, wildlife and the overall visitor experience.
