Cricket For A Cause

THE Essex Big Bash is an annual charity cricket match between Business Professionals that will taking place at on 9th July at Garon Park in Southend.
Dubbed ‘Cricket for a cause’ the annual match has raised more than £30,000 for various leading charities since it began in 2024.
This year, the four competing teams will be raising money for the Southend branch of the Samaritans (https://www.samaritans.org/branches/southendonsea/) and will feature guest appearances from cricket legends Sir Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Devon Malcolm and Adam Hollioake.
