THE UK’s top 100 care homes for 2026 have just been announced by Online Care Finder Lottie and Hallmark Admiral Court, located in Leigh, says it is proud to be included on the list.
Now in their second year, the Lottie Awards recognise and celebrate care homes across the UK that demonstrate exceptional commitment to residents and families.
Lottie’s team conducted a comprehensive, data-driven review of every published care home listing on its platform, assessing them against the criteria that matter most to families when choosing care, including independent regulator ratings, enquiry handling, facilities and activities, the quality of each home’s online listing, and verified family reviews.
Customer Relationship Manager at Hallmark Admiral Court, Kay Palmer said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 Care Homes by Lottie. This award reflects the dedication and compassion of our entire team, who work tirelessly to create a welcoming community where residents can truly thrive. We’re incredibly proud of the care we provide and grateful to the residents and their families for the trust they place in us every day.”
Will Donnelly, Co-Founder and CEO of Lottie, added: “The Lottie Awards are about recognising the incredible dedication of care professionals who make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
“To be named among the Top 100 from more than 14,000 care homes across the UK is a huge achievement. These care homes are not just meeting residents’ needs, they’re redefining later living by creating vibrant and supportive communities that deliver exceptional care and experiences.”
About the Lottie Awards: Launched in 2025 by Online Care Finder Lottie, the Lottie Awards highlight the UK’s Top 100 care homes across England, Scotland and Wales. Winners are determined through a rigorous, data-led process that scores every published care home listing on the Lottie platform across seven weighted categories – drawing on more than a dozen individual data points important to families, including independent regulator ratings, enquiry responsiveness, on-site facilities and activities, the richness of each home’s online listing, and verified family reviews.
Every home receives a single composite score built entirely from objective, measurable data, with no paid placements, and a cap on how many homes any one operator can place in the Top 100 to keep the ranking fair across geography and price.
The Lottie Awards aim to provide families with trusted guidance on the best elderly care providers while recognising care homes that exceed expectations in care quality, responsiveness, and the everyday experience they create for residents.
