The team successfully completed Southend Hospital’s ‘Tackle the Tower’ abseiling challenge on Saturday May 13.
LEAD by Sister Anita Bowles, Governance Manager Ophthalmology & Debbie Barker, Project Lead Ophthalmology, Team Eyes have raised more than £1,000 for wards at Southend Hospital.
The team successfully completed Southend Hospital’s ‘Tackle the Tower’ abseiling challenge on Saturday May 13.
More than 80 brave fundraisers abseiled 154 feet down the tower block at the Hospital, raising an estimated £35,000 for their choice of Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust wards and units.
The Team Eyes Just Giving page will remain open for donations until May 30 and Mrs Bowles said: “Please share this with anyone and everyone and please sponsor us. Every little helps.”
