Guide Dogs Flag Day

A CHARITY event raised over a thousand pounds for guide dogs.

Guide Dogs Southend and District Branch held its annual Flag Day through Rayleigh High Street on Saturday June 17, attended by Vice Chairman Rochford District Council, Sarah-Jane Page and several of her colleagues

Jon Lovett said: “The branch’s organising committee would like to thank the amazing support and generosity of the Rayleigh and Rochford area whose donations on the day helped raise £1,033, funds that will contribute towards the raising and maintenance of Guide Dog puppies and working dogs in the surrounding area.”
