A LEIGH health clinic hosted a charity coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
One Clinic opened its doors on September 29 to residents and health care professionals for a community coffee event, attended by Southend West MP Anna Firth.
Attendees enjoyed homemade cakes, brownies and samosas with their hot beverages, in an event which managed to raise over £400 for cancer care.
Pharmacist prescriber Beena Khan, who was key in organising and running the coffee morning, said: “Our aim at OneClinic is to provide the finest private healthcare in a clinic setting.”
The new clinic, at 1 Old Leigh Road, will provide health care covering everything from dentistry, GP appointments and wellness, under one roof.
