A MAN has died after multiple emergency services were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at Chalkwell Park.
Essex Police, Emergency services, including an Air ambulance, attended the scene after being alerted shortly after 1.40pm on October 30.
Police cars and ambulances shut London Road during the afternoon in both directions at A1158 Southbourne Grove, in response to the incident.
The ambulance service has now confirmed that despite the best efforts of all emergency services involved, the man sadly died.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Two ambulances and two Essex and Herts air ambulances attended London Road, Westcliff, yesterday afternoon, following calls concerned for the welfare of a man.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, the patient died.”
