RAYLEIGH Town Museum celebrated after reaching a milestone in its visitor numbers.
This November, the local museums 40,000th visitor walked through the door.
Mike Davies, chairman of the Museum said: “We have come along way. After just seven years of being open, we’re overjoyed to have our 40,000th visitor come in.
“We love being part of the community and we will carry on celebrating Rayleigh’s amazing history through our museum and exhibitions.
“Rayleigh Museum in located in an historic building at 91 High Street is home to memorabilia, cinema artefacts photos and costumes relating to the towns varied past.”
It’s free entry, and open on Wednesday Friday Saturday from 10 am till 4 pm.
