Feelgood Charity Gig

CANVEY’S Dr Feelgood return to their home county with a night of excitement and gutsy, high-powered music, all in aid of a cancer charity.

Formed in the early 70s their distinctively British form of R&B has been hugely influential for many successful bands that followed on both sides of the Atlantic.

Having sadly lost two of their founding members to cancer, the band are playing this gig at the Palace Theatre on Saturday January 13 at 7.30 pm in support of Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation’s Spotlight Radiotherapy appeal.

The appeal aims to raise £600,000 to fund state-of-the-art technology known as Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT).
