THE Leigh Art Trail launched its dates for this year’s upcoming event with a profile of one of its featured artists.
Annabel Barry, a papier-mâché sculptor and artist based in Westcliff, said: “I am a Paper Mache Sculpture Artist based in Westcliff, and I create all of my artwork here in my studio.
“I have always liked painting and creating original and colourful items.”
She added: “Working with papier-mâché gives me the opportunity to use my love of colour taking inspiration from nature, creating sculptures of animals and other objects that will last and last.”
Ms Barry will be appearing with a number of other artists in the 27th iteration of the week-long annual art and crafts festival, which will be held between Saturday July 6 and Sunday, July 14.
