LEIGH Town Council’s live poetry night ‘The Listening Room’ returns this year with more scheduled events.
The open mic night encourages local performers and writers to get up on stage and share their work.
A spokesperson for Leigh Community Centre events said: “Let’s begin this year with supporting our local creative souls!
“Come and enjoy the performances. Or even share your creative inspiration with the audience yourself.”
The Listening Room takes place on the second Wednesday of the month from 7.30pm – 9.30pm at Leigh Community Centre.
The next session is February 14th.
There is a bar café open, and donated contributions go towards Leigh Town Council Chairman’s charity Serving The Homeless.
