Leigh On Sea News: Bus Stop Assault – TWO teenagers were assaulted at a bus stop robbery in Rayleigh.
Essex Police are now urging people to come forward after the assault, which occurred at about 5.45pm pm on Saturday January 27.
Two teenagers – aged 14 and 15 – were at a bus stop on Eastwood Road when they were approached by two other people.
It was reported that the victims were assaulted before handing over their coats and property.
An Essex spokesperson said: “The incident took place at 5.45pm on Saturday (27 January) in Eastwood Road at a bus stop opposite the Nisa.
“Two teenagers – aged 14 and 15 – had been approached by two other people, also believed to be teenagers.
“It has been reported the victims were assaulted before handing over their coats and other property.
The two assailants left the area in a white car.
