Indirock Celebrations

A LEIGH couple’s rock-climbing business is celebrating its second year.

Starting as the dream of husband-and-wife Emily Vermont and Gordon Conroy from Leigh, Indirock is a true family business.

They even welcomed their daughter into the world in the midst of the climbing wall being fundraised and built!

Since opening two years ago, it has become a popular community amenity, in the heart of Southend’s Victoria Shopping Plaza.

They celebrated the birthday with a weekend of events, featureing the final of IndiBlock Stars.

A spokesperson said: “The atmosphere at the finals was buzzing, and congratulations to the winners!”
