Little Havens £10k

RAYLEIGH Golf Club raised thousands of pounds for a children’s hospice charity.

The club presented Little Havens Hospice with a cheque for nearly £10k.

A spokesperson for Little Havens said: “A huge thank you to Rayleigh Golf Club for raising £9568 in aid of Little Havens.

“After their final fundraising dinner, Nick Hart, an ambassador for the charity whose daughter was cared for by Little Havens, visited the golf club to thank them for their amazing fundraising and to tell them how their donations make a difference to the families at Little Havens.

“Without fundraising from the local community and groups like the Rayleigh Golf Club, we wouldn’t be able to provide our much-needed free specialist support and care to families when they need us most.”
