THIS May, Westcliff’s Hamlet Court Road will burst with life as the vibrant Hamlet Court Road In Harmony festival returns.

Now in its third year, this family-friendly multicultural event celebrates the spirit and diversity of Westcliff’s beloved “Bond Street.”

With over 50 stalls showcasing a variety of music and performances, visitors can immerse themselves in the festivities. The main stage will feature acts such as soul singer Dawnette Fessey, steel-pan group Steel Here, Priscilla Bailey, and a Hungarian Choir.

Additionally, an ABSS children and families area will provide entertainment and arts and crafts, alongside local information booths highlighting Westcliff’s inclusive offerings.

Matt King, who is part of the In Harmony committee said: “We are really excited to be organising the street festival again, which promises to be even bigger and better than the previous two festivals.

“Our eclectic array of talent including dancers, spoken word artist and musicians will have something for everyone.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity Hamlet Court Road and Westcliff, helping bring the community together to enjoy food, music, culture, creativity and discovered the amazing as it’s in our local area.”

Kay Mitchell, chair of the festival, added: “It is so heartening to see the community come together around the new festival, forming new connections, and taking forward new ideas around Hamlet Court Road.

“The two previous festivals have paved the way for this community endeavour to grow and there is a real buzz about the festival this year.”

Get ready to experience the best of Westcliff at this lively and inclusive festival on Sunday, May 26th from 12 noon to 4 pm.
