Community Naming Project

A LOCAL care home has foregrounded its connection to the locale with a community naming project.

Pinetree Care Home run by Barchester Healthcare ran a project to get residents opinions on what to name its three floors.

The results are in and the care home is thrilled to announce that the building’s floors will be called Barrington Lane, Windmill Lane and Bellingham Lane.

A spokesperson for the home said: “Thank you to everyone who participated in our community naming project! It’s been incredible to see all the wonderful suggestions pouring in from our local community members and groups.

“Your creativity and engagement have truly made a difference in shaping our new care home.

“We appreciate each and every one of you who contributed to this process.”
