Walk for Wards

SOUTHEND NHS Hospital trust’s annul fun walk is set to talk pace this month.

 The Walk for Wards will take place at 10 am on September 22, and sees people of all abelites and ages complete a sponsored walk of 7 km along Southend Seafront.

  A spokesperson said; “Our annual sponsored walk is back.

  “Join us and walk for a ward, department or appeal which sits close to your heart.

  “This family-friendly event is open to all.

  “As anyone that’s taken part before will know, we welcome fancy-dress – this year we have new charity t-shirts in a variety of colours and sizes; these can be purchased when registering or on the day – let’s really brighten up the seafront.

  “A big thank you to our supporters Adventure Island – you’re the best.”

 Entry is free, but a minimum sponsorship requirement is £20, for a ward, department or appeal of your choice
