Rotary supports Macmillan

LEIGH Rotary Clubs donated £5,000 to Macmillan Caner Support.

 The Leigh branch handed the cheque to Katy Low, Associate Director of Nursing for Cancer.

 Ms Low attended the branch’s Monday evening dinner meeting at Saxon Hall, and spoke about the current state of cancer treatment in the area.

 She outlined the new initiative of involving MacMillan Support with the NHS in terms of planning care and support for patients through their treatment path.

  This donation was initiated by Janice Price, the previous branch President, who is pictured with Katy Low and the current President Eric Jude.
