A ROCHFORD project saw a dementia group grow pumpkins in time for Halloween.
Local charity Trust Links’ ‘Growing Together for Dementia’ group members enjoyed growing the Pumpkins and then harvesting them ready for spooky season.
Growing Together for Dementia is a new therapeutic gardening project that provides those living with dementia a chance to improve wellbeing in a friendly and supportive environment, socialise with others who are also living with dementia, and benefit from a selection of meaningful activities.
They meet every Tuesday at the Hamelin Trust Garden in Rochford.
