LEIGH Road Baptist Church (LRBC) hosted a fundraising meal on Wednesday, 20 November, at the Thamesbreeze Bar and Restaurant, Leigh Road.
The evening brought together 34 guests to enjoy delicious two- and three-course meals prepared and served by the exceptionally hospitable staff at Thamesbreeze.
The event raised over £200 for Tek Ura, a community-focused charity committed to empowering families and individuals in Albania. Guests relished the warm ambiance of the evening while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Steve Green and Tanya Pain, the event organisers from LRBC, expressed their gratitude for the support shown by attendees: “We’re truly humbled by the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone who joined us for the charity meal.
“A huge thank you to the team at Thamesbreeze for their incredible hospitality and to our wonderful guests for helping us raise funds to support Tek Ura’s inspiring work.”
Tek Ura, Albania was founded by former locals Daniel and Annastasia Dupree and is dedicated to building community and offering support to vulnerable individuals, creating a brighter future for many.
