LADY McAdden Breast Cancer Trust, a local charity dedicated to providing breast cancer awareness and support services has announced its upcoming Nearly New Fair fundraising event.

The fair will take place on Sunday 2nd March from 10am – 2pm at The Mill Arts and Events Centre, Rayleigh.

This family-friendly event will offer a wide variety of new and pre-loved items, including baby and toddler clothing, accessories, toys, books, maternity items, feeding, hygiene and safety equipment and much more.

Stalls for the event are available for just £10 and can be booked at www.bookwhen.com/ladymcadden.

“By shopping at our Nearly New Fair, attendees will not only find fantastic bargains, but also contribute to an important cause” said charity fundraiser Francesca Watkins.

Along with the stalls, there will also be a bake sale and other refreshments available, a bra sale (all new items), and a parent and baby health hub, where local businesses and organisations will be coming together to provide free information and advice regarding all aspects of early parenthood, such as ante-natal care, sleeping, weaning and more.

Entry to the fair on the day will be £2 per adult – children free – with all proceeds supporting Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust, reg. charity no. 1062236.

Lady McAdden have been established since 1976, and work to provide education and awareness of breast cancer and it’s signs and symptoms.

Their team of specialist nurses also provide support and advice regarding breast concerns or pain. There are also a number of exciting projects being launched later in the year, that will further support women facing breast cancer treatments.
