A SOUTH Essex charity is calling for volunteers to help at their Southend Half Marathon event this year.
Havens Hospice is calling on residents to help with the upcoming marathon event, set to take place on Sunday 8th June, raising vital funds for hospice care.
A variety of roles are available, including event set-up assistant, event pack-down assistant, route marshal, water station attendant, registration attendant, and baggage attendant.
A spokesperson for Havens said: “We need volunteers to help out at the Southend Half Marathon 2025!
“The Southend Half Marathon is back for another year and will be raising vital funds for Havens Hospices specialist care and support to families across Essex.
“There are various roles available.
“Sign up now to volunteer and help us make every day count for families across Essex.”
