ENJOY sounds from local musicians in the open air this summer, when Belfairs Woodland Nature Discovery Centre’s ‘Music in the Woods’ returns.
Everyone is invited to bring a picnic and enjoy live music for free, with everything from barbershop quartets to shanties and folk singing on Saturday, July 12th from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
A spokesperson for Belfairs Woodland Centre explains: “This year we have the, brilliant, Hoy Shanty Crew, who have supported every one of these evenings, as have the epic Show Choir!
“We will also have sets from The Waterside Choir who are old friends of the Centre and a brand-new act for 2025: The Main Street Quartet.
“Thanks to all of these musicians for giving their time and effort to support Essex Wildlife Trust.
“No need to book just turn up with your rug and chairs. The centre will be open for food and drink.”
There will be a retiring collection in aid of Essex Wildlife Trust.
