A DRINK driver who was found driving on a major road has been hit with a ban.
Najia Jone, of Gipson Park Close, Eastwood, was driving a Range Rover on the A313 in Newham east London when she was found with 43 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on June 12.
The limit is 35.
She admitted the offence at Thanes Magistrates’ Court on Thursday June 26 where she was banned from driving for a year.
The ban could be reduced by three months if she completes a course.
The 45-year-old was also fined £460.
