A CHILDREN’S Hospice is holding an open day.

“Come and See” is a free open day offering a rare chance to go behind the scenes at Little Havens, in Daws Heath Road.

Whether people already support the hospice, are considering getting involved, or are simply curious, this is an opportunity to explore the hospice, meet members of the care and fundraising teams, and see first-hand how all this support helps make every day count for local families.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy guided tours of the hospice, chat with staff, learn about volunteering or regular giving, and see how donations directly impact the care of hundreds of families across Essex.

Taking place on Sunday, September 21, refreshments and merchandise will also be available to purchase.

There’s free parking on site and the building is fully wheelchair accessible.

A spokesperson said: “You don’t need to book in advance — just pop in on the day between 1-4pm.

“But if you can let us know you’re coming, by registering your interest it will help us plan and make your visit as smooth as possible.”
