RAYLEIGH Horticultural Society have two upcoming event this September, set to showcase autumnal favourites and wild nature.
Their Club afternoon on Friday September 5th welcomes a talk by Mary & Graham Brace entitled ‘A walk on the wild Side’, with the pair showcasing big cats they have photographed in their natural habitat in India, close up and personal!
This will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh in the Main Hall.
Admission is £2.50 for members and £3 for visitors and includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
On Sunday, September 7st, their Autumn Show at the Mill Arts & Events Centre will feature a colourful display of different classes of Flowers, Fruit, Vegetables and Homecrafts, all entered by members of the Society.
There will be plants and other things to buy, including many items from the Society’s Trading Store and there is free parking.
The show can be enjoyed by the public from 2 to 4.30pm, and admission costs just £1 with accompanied children free.
