THE Mayor of Southend is inviting residents to a glamorous 1920s-themed Afternoon Tea at The Cobham Hotel, Westcliff, on Wednesday, September 18, from 2pm to 5pm.

Guests can enjoy vintage-style treats and entertainment while raising money for Southend in Sight and the Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity Dandelion Appeal.

Charity Dinner

A special fundraising dinner will be held at Il Mondo Restaurant, Westcliff, on Wednesday, November 12, from 6pm to 9.30pm.

Hosted by the Mayor of Southend, the evening will bring the community together in support of Southend in Sight and the Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity Dandelion Appeal.

Tickets are £37.50.

Mayor’s Christmas Party

Residents are invited to celebrate the season in style at the Mayor of Southend-on-Sea’s Charity Christmas Party.

This will take place on Thursday, December 4, at the Chalkwell Park Rooms, from 7pm to 11pm.

The event includes a festive meal, live DJ, and dancing, with proceeds going to Southend in Sight and the Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity Dandelion Appeal.
