Teen Assaulted

A TEENAGE boy needed hospital treatment for a serious injury to his ear after being assaulted near a supermarket.
Essex Police were called to a report of a disturbance near in Priory Chase, Rayleigh near the Asda supermarket on the evening of Friday September 26th.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital following the assault.
Investigators believe three teenage boys may be involved in the incident.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We are investigating an assault in Rayleigh yesterday evening where a teenage boy suffered a serious injury. Officers were called to reports of a disturbance and fight in Priory Chase, near the Asda store, at just after 10.30pm.
“There were a number of people in the area at the time of the reported incident.
“Our enquiries continue at pace and detectives particularly want to speak to three suspects who are described as teenage boys aged around 16 years and white. Two are said to have fair hair and the other has brown hair.”
According to reports, a number of people were in the area at the time of the assault, and police are urging those with any information to come forward.
