THE next meeting of the Southend Anglo-Italian Circle will feature an Italian language presentation by speaker Barbara Corti, on the subject of Le Marche region of Italy.
A spokesperson said: “Join us on a journey of discovery, where we will explore the wine and the cuisine of this fascinating area, the birthplace of Raphael and the artistic treasures of its many beautiful historical towns.
“We shall enjoy its stunning hills, parks, beaches and religious sanctuaries. All are welcome.”
The meeting takes place on Wednesday, November 22 at the Leigh Community Centre (room 8), Elm Road. SS9 1SP.
Doors open 7:30pm, and attendees are encouraged to arrive promptly for the 8pm start, as the centre’s main doors operate as exit-only after 8pm. Entry cost is £6.
